Little girl un-fired

Ceramic sculpture, raku clay, stoneware, electric kiln, coiling technique.

I saw a little girl with two pony tails holding her hands together; she held an object I couldn’t see. She was showing it to the other kids around her. It seemed like it was very special, the kids were focused on it, staring into her hands for a long time. They discussed it for a long time. I was at a distance, so I decided it would be a butterfly.
